Who We Are: Tahi Global Community is a non profit organization dedicated to empowering people in need, developing countries and indigenous cultures by providing essential resources such as food, water, and sustainable solutions, fostering a brighter and more resilient future for all.

 

The Founder: Karina J. Duffy 

Tahi Global Community Foundation was founded by Karina Duffy, a passionate documentary filmmaker who, during her travels around the world, discovered a compelling need to support indigenous cultures and developing countries by providing essential resources and assistance. Driven by her commitment to making a positive impact, Karina established the foundation to address these pressing global challenges and create a brighter future for marginalized communities.

Current Fundraiser Project: To provide a well for the Himba people of Namibia. The well will provide around 500 + people and 1,500 livestock access to clean water.

Filming: 

A documentary will be created filming this water project and the stories of the villages, a follow-up to the first documentary Tahi: The Human Journey. Through powerful visuals and personal narratives, it will highlight resilience, connection, and the impact of community-led transformation.

 

Location and area information: Located in the North-West of Namibia close to the town of Opowo, the Kaokoland border between Namibia and Angola, South Africa.
