The early part of Karina's career began in the music industry, where she formed Vibe Records in her hometown of Manchester, England. At the early age of 16, Karina successfully managed the record label and state-of-the-art studio and worked alongside chart hitting recording artists such as KC and the Sunshine Band, Brotherhood, 808 State and K-Klass.
Karina ventured on to work for the BBC in England before moving to Los Angeles, California where she established her own company, Mindstorm Creative. Mindstorm began as a Post Production Studio but has since evolved into a film production/ film financing company. Her company helped finance many feature films such as Project Redlight, starring Christian Slater, Lou Diamond Phillips, Michael Badalucco and Andy Dick. More recently, Karina directed the feature film documentary, The Healers, the film takes three characters struggling with life issues on an inspirational journey of intense healing, known as Te Oomai Reia, with the Indigenous Maori Healers of New Zealand. Karina is currently in post production on her recently directed feature film, Tahi, The Human Journey.
Karina is an established Photographer and Camera Professional with a very keen eye. She specializes in capturing the essence of a person and place, especially when it comes to Indigenous people. At the center of all her projects is the goal of raising awareness and inspiring viewers to feel with their heart. It is her life mission to be the bridge between western audiences and ancient untold stories, tribes, bringing the awareness to the Oneness that resides in us all.
